Exquisite, sparkling vase by Barovier e Toso, circa 1950s. The clear ribbed vase is infused with spiraling gold profusions and narrow spiraling pink bands. Each clear handle is embellished with a double sided flower. The entire handle portion is coated in gold aventurine (gold dust).
The vase is small, "cabinet" sized, measuring just over 5" tall and approximately 5.5" in diameter. The top, flared portion of the vase is flattened. In excellent condition. Unsigned, but very well documented. The color of this vase is richer and deeper than my photos show. |
