1918 - Pair of Iridescent Bohemian Glass Vases |

Fabulous and rare matched pair of early 20th Century glass vases from Bohemia. The glass produced in this region are celebrated for their Art Nouveau designs. The factories were especially skilled in producing iridescent art glass.
Each vase features a complex feathered design in shades of greens, whites and amber. The surface of the glass is lightly iridized, showing purple and pink reflections. The lower portion of the vases has three smooth indentations. They each have a handmade metal rim. They are not completely identical, as they are handmade and each has some variations in terms of color and shading.
Each vase is in excellent vintage condition. The metal shows some wear and tool marks from when they were produced. Unsigned. Each measures just under 7" tall. |
